Our client required a simple way for their corporate customers to purchase products while maintaining pricing confidentiality from the wider market. Their legacy system was outdated, used multiple systems that weren’t integrated and made order and inventory tracking difficult. Additionally, the lack of reporting functionality in their systems led to costly errors and significant labour costs associated with manual report generation.

Execution

To ensure we provided maximum value we took our client through our discovery process. We identified operational inefficiencies, opportunities for process simplification and determined the key metrics required for reporting.
Using the information collected we built a custom system designed to provide our client’s customers with a great, individualised e-commerce based experience while allowing all the client stores to be managed from a single, easy to use back-end. We developed reporting features which significantly improved order and inventory management processes and the system allows for new client stores to be brought online quickly, greatly reducing error rates and labour costs.
